adanya pengujian fisik diperlukan untuk mengetahui tingkat ketelitian rumus empiris peraturan (design code) atau simulasi nonlinear program komputer. Persiapan, waktu dan biaya uji eksperimental tersebut tidaklah  mudah, cepat dan murah, maka rujukan yg telah ada merupakan pustaka yg dapat dikategorikan penting dan sangat berarti walau dapat saja kurang sesuai terkait dimensi benda ujinya.
